I am a freshmen in high school, I’m about 5’3” and 110 lbs., I have never been a fast sprinter, yet my endurance is good because I have been playing soccer. I can run a sub 6 min. mile easily, however, I want to be quicker and a better sprinter because baseball is my favorite sport and I need to have fast times. What would you recomend, workout wise, I have access to the local Lifetime(Health club).

Is there anyone who has personal trained at these places that can give me some input? I just graduated with a 4-year Kinesiology degree and am ISSA certified. What is the pay difference between the two? What was it like working there? Benefits? :) Thanks.

ive found some funny sports team names, and seeing if anyone knows of others.

Fart – Yes, there is actually a pro women’s soccer team in Norway whose official name is Fart.

F.C. KooTeePee – A pro Finnish soccer team whose mascot is regrettably not toilet paper, but instead an angry bird.

K.F.C. Germinal Beerschot – It’s a Belgian soccer club whose name sounds like a health beer you’d buy at Kentucky Fried Chicken. I’ll take four.

The Yuma City Criminals – That name will definitely make a positive impact on the kids.

Laurel Hill Hoboes – Same with this one.

The Mars Area Fighting Planets – Totally original.

Hoopeston Area Cornjerkers – Sounds dirty.

The Chattanooga Central Purple Pounders – Ditto.

    And last but not least…

    The famous Watersmeet Nimrods.

And remember, keep jerking that corn people. Your team needs you.
